In 1995, at the encouragement of a number of insurance industry executives and consultants, the replication process of the highly successful first Master Agency – Satellite Agency Network Group was initiated, and in 1997, after a pilot program, SIAA was launched. Today, SIAA is the nation’s largest partnering Independent Insurance Agency Alliance.
Since 1997, SIAA has grown to over 3,300 signed Independent Insurance Agency Members with only 11 domestic Property and Casualty Insurance Companies writing more premium than SIAA!
SIAA experienced $728 million in premium growth and and added 439 new members in 2009. On average, more than one new Agency joins a SIAA Master Agency Alliance each business day!
The SIAA business plan calls for a network of 4,500 Independent Insurance Agencies producing in excess of $20 billion in premium!
SIAA is not a franchise, cluster or aggregator. SIAA Master Agencies gain much more independence as members of a large national alliance.
