SIAA Master Agencies are 10 of the Insurance Journal’s Top 50

December 14, 2011 – Hampton, NH: According to the Insurance Journal (November 21, 2011), The Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance’s (SIAA) Master Agencies account for 10 of the top 50 Personal Lines leaders in the country. “When combined, the Master Agencies who reported and ranked in the top 50 account for $872 million in Personal Lines Premium – and would land SIAA as number two on the list,” stated Jim Masiello, CEO of SIAA.

Masiello went on to say, “Coincidentally, SIAA Master Agencies account for 20% of the list, and those on the list account for just fewer than 20% of our Master Agencies across the country. The total of Personal Lines Premium written by all our Master Agencies would put SIAA in the number 1 position.”

The ranking is based on Insurance Journal’s Top 100 annual survey conducted in the spring and early summer each year, and then reported in August.

“This demonstrates, once again, what we mean when we tell prospective members that they will become ‘Instantly Big’ if they join one of our Master Agency alliances.” said Masiello.

The highest ranked Master Agency on the list is The Satellite Agency Network Group, Inc. (SAN Group) of Hampton, NH, at number 6 with $316.56 million in 2010 Personal Lines Premium. “SAN is the largest group of its kind in the Northeast and is the original organization for the SIAA model. It’s rewarding to see so many other SIAA member Master Agencies succeed by following the same model,” Masiello commented.
