SIAA Announces Expansion with New Master Agency to Support Growth in California

Santa Rosa, Calif., September 8, 2016– SIAA (Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance), the nation’s largest alliance of independent insurance agencies, has announced the formation of a new master agency in support of current and future planned growth in the northern California region.  The new regional master agency, Strategic Independent Insurance Agency Solutions (SIIAS) is headquartered at 3558 Round Barn Blvd. in Santa Rosa and will service member agencies across 19 northern counties in California including Napa, Sacramento, and Sonoma.

In addition to the full support and executive leadership of SIAA, the regional master agency office will be initially staffed by three key insurance industry executives with over 50 years of combined experience: Forest de Jong, Greg Moody and Lori Crissinger.

Forest de Jong, SIIAS senior vice president, will be responsible for the overall operations of the master agency as well as building the membership network and regional insurance company partnerships. Mr. de Jong joins the network with a long history of property/casualty insurance and management experience, having held positions of increasing responsibility at Nationwide, Countrywide and Allied Insurance.

Greg Moody

Also supporting SIIAS growth, Greg Moody has been hired as regional vice president and will work to attract new member agencies, as well as share responsibility for membership service, development, and insurance company relations for all SIIAS member agencies. Mr. Moody has extensive experience in growing profitable sales throughout a variety of industries with a primary focus on the independent channel.  During his 11+ years with National General Insurance (formerly GMAC Insurance) he successfully managed and grew geographic territories throughout California and most recently served as western regional sales manager.

The new master agency has also named Lori Crissinger as their agency development field specialist. In this role, Ms. Crissinger will consult with SIIAS member insurance agencies regarding: start-up issues and solutions, SIAA’s Business Insurance Advantage (increasing commercial lines), training opportunities, and premium growth overall. She will also establish access to third party providers, connect members with marketing and management support tools and offer on-going support.

Lori Crissinger

Ms. Crissinger has over 20 years of experience within the insurance industry, including over 15 years in a variety of roles with both Nationwide Insurance and State Farm Insurance. She possesses a deep knowledge of underwriting performance, holds her P&C and Life Licenses, and is highly skilled at training a wide variety of audiences.
