October 10, 2017 – Hampton, NH: SIAA, Inc. – the largest alliance of independent insurance agencies in the country – hosted representatives from its 49 master agencies and more than 20 strategic partner companies in Boston on October 4th-6th. Among the distinguished guest speakers were Tyler Asher, president of Safeco Insurance, and David Obenauer, chief executive officer of CRC Group.
At the opening reception, “A Pink Evening in Boston with SIAA,” SIAA raised over $45,000 for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund. Dana-Farber provides expert, compassionate care to children and adults and is home to groundbreaking cancer discoveries. Since its founding in 1948, the Jimmy Fund has raised millions of dollars through community efforts to advance Dana-Farber’s mission. Guests from all over the country wore pink to the event, and all proceeds contributed directly towards Dana-Farber cancer research and patient care.

More than 350 insurance professionals attended the three-day event, held at the Marriott Copley Hotel in Boston, Mass. In addition to one-on-one meetings between master agency owners and strategic partner companies, attendees participated in full group and breakout sessions, with topics that ranged across a full spectrum of: agencies of the future, compliance and procedures, cyber security and digital technology.
