Bailey Family Insurance, a member agency of VIAA, is using smart technology to engage more people who are demanding online and mobile capabilities
November 8, 2017 – Hampton, NH: SIAA (Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance) and Valley Insurance Agency Alliance (VIAA) presented Bailey Family Insurance of Springfield, Illinois, with its first Agency of the Future & Today Award at VIAA’s Bi-Annual Meeting Friday, November 3rd in St. Louis, Missouri. Mark and Christine Bailey were recognized for utilizing multiple digital and online technologies to engage new clients, while creating a local and accessible brand.

At the launch of their company in 2017, Bailey Family Insurance unveiled a highly interactive website with a dynamic social media presence, a client portal, and the release of new content regularly, producing monthly videos and commercials. Their website chat feature and business phone with text capability enable them to respond faster to their client’s needs.
Mark Bailey started his insurance career in 2010 and was very close to becoming a captive agent for State Farm Insurance before starting his own agency with the help of his wife. Christine Bailey had worked for Capitol Radio Group selling digital advertising and had met local business owners across Springfield. The couple opened their own independent agency and began leveraging local relationships, developing a personal brand together to market and sell multiple insurance products.
